Uluru and Kata Tjuta National Park is owned by the Aborigines, the Anangu to be more precise, who lease the park to Park Australia.
Although you're still allowed to climb the Uluru, the Anangu ask you not to out of respect to their ancestors. We contented with looking
at the rock formation. \O

Bird life was rather slow in the National Park, but I still got a few species.

Crested Pigeons
