A cool drink on a cold day at Shipukuyila Pan.



Emerald-spotted Wood-Dove.



There was not much water in the pan so we were not sure if this hippo was alive or not but then it blinked an eye and twitched an ear so all was ok.

I found this very demanding Juvenile Martial Eagle shouting for food and attention at the Ngwenyeni waterhole on S131, close to Phalaborwa gate.
