Wednesday, 01.10.2015 – Hlanguleni

Roads we travelled along that morning: S139 – S25 – H4-2 - S28 – S130 – H5 – S108 – S139 - S214 - H34 - S423 - H32 - S007 - R40 - N4 - H4-12 - S36 - turnoff to Hlanguleni - parking lot - longdrop - chairs

We arrived at the picnic spot for ice cream, I had only had five that morning. It was very hot and dry, but no ice cream. Bushcraft and family were sitting there, so we stopped for a wait to enjoy the atmosphere. Suddenly a silver Mahindra arrived, with some sunburnt species inside. The baboon climbed out and approached the cow, so Timon started snapping happily away.

The baboon embraced the cow, but as she lifted her head to kiss him, her sunglasses fell to the ground behind her. He grabbed at them reflexively, but surely grabbed her butt with both hands instead. She stepped back in horror, but to prevent her from stepping on the glasses the baboon gladly grabbed same again, pulling her towards him.

It was so pleasant to watch these small things and just relax in the bush.

They started preparing pregos and buns and tomatoes. The basket seems a bit effeminate.

The baboon offered Bushcraft some tea and he gladly accepted same. Timon was curious and got up but I said no. The family gladly assisted with preparation of lunch.

It was hot and dry, with great activity at the trough.

We left, as we still had a long way to go.

to be continued....

You are making this up as you go along. 0=

So Pumbaa and Timon narrated & took the pics even though they were not there. -O-

If you really grabbed The Cow by her derriere, several things would have happened, all in quick succession -

1. The Cow would have slapped you across the face. (0!)

2. Bushcraft would have punched you in the nose. (0!)

3. The Rats would have taken it in turns to kick your shins. (0!)

Seeing as there are no photos of your wounds, and you have not moaned about any pain whatsoever, I don't believe you. You normally post horrific pics of any injuries you sustain on your trips and complain for ages about the agony you were in. :X:

Nice picnic basket. \O

Oh, yes, she didn't mind! And it's an exquisite bottom! Will try again Tuesday, I think it will be a good scientific update, you know, monitoring and all! \O

Injuries coming up, don't worry...the Blindfolded Torture Maze of Tamboti... O-/
