Plenty of water Lisbeth. An awesome sight and fantastic for Kariba dam which was very low and needed to fill up.

I opened the end of the bag for the lens to stick out a bit - I did take some through the bag but they weren't clear at all
My children kept telling me I was going to damage my camera, but fortunately all is well
Away for the weekend. More next week. Sorry for the delay!!

Haha! The African Tourist Trap with those fines...it's so ironic when there is mayhem on the roads for local users!
What a superb spot, pooky!
And a nice bird and lifetime memories for the boy!

The next day we visited the Look Out Cafe which has a stunning view of the gorge .
They have some rope swings. Tenielle, my granddaughter, wanted to have a go at them all, but
at R1697 a shot she had to choose one!!

In the top of the big trees around the hotel we saw some trumpeter hornbills.
Difficult to photograph them in the tree tops.

A pretty water lily in the hotel gardens

We went for a drive up the river. The vegetation was very thick so we saw
very little, but we did get to see the big tree.

At the Elephant Hills hotel we found these guys in the middle of the lawn. The had made themselves
a nice mud puddle
