Re: New EIA Malelane Lodge
There seems to be a misunderstanding on your side, H.e. I don't think nan or Lis meant harm with their posts. It's a fact that there are enough out of country aka Western Noses out there who appreciate that kind of accommodation. They think they'll be in the wild and back to nature and all the rest of it when going to Kruger, but will have a heart attack when coming across a harmless spider or snake. And I'm sure we all agree that the demand for "safer" and more luxurious accommodation can easily be fulfilled by facilities within the Greater Kruger. The posts above were only made to play advocat's devil.
God put me on earth to accomplish a certain amount of things. Right now I'm so far behind that I'll never die.
Re: New EIA Malelane Lodge
Two " conservationists " were sitting in the pub discussing heavy world matters . The one said " all these new developments have wiped out all the animals in the area , but I hear that there is one lonely survivor , making it the last one on the planet ! "
The second one says : " wow , that is very sad to hear that . Lets go and shoot it for ourselves before there is nothing left anymore "
the moral of this story you have to decide for yourself - (w)right or wrong

Oh my goodness,..
a sense of consideration filled my mind,,
with regard to offensive,
I have no clue what Lis is on about,..in fact both Lis and Nan are quite
correct in their thinking!!! But of course Sanparks are after the foreign
dollars and dollars only, to heck with local ethics and all local social
balderdash they portray!!
There are many enough venues that cater for creepy crawly sensitive
visitors to the park. This hotel venture, I beg to iterate, was not based
on this kind of mind swing as a outset.
My statement with regard to,...
I expressed, on behalf of the greater public that visit this park, that
Kruger withholds some kind of grip over the moral being. It is a sacred
place to many for it manages to transform ones very active mind, into
a very peaceful contentedness.
To my way of thinking, Sanparks in their mission strategy 2022 are destroying
a very special situation, where all can enjoy and come to one, fulfilling their
expectations. I do not belong to any religion yet respect and grant other this
very special situation.
Commercialization, probably the worst fertilizer that can be used that would
make a park yield more dollars. Hence my statement,....
Folks offense???,...wasn't meant that way,...
Mel, no misunderstanding at all from my side in fact as I was typingMel wrote:There seems to be a misunderstanding on your side, H.e.

H.e., if for once and all ways you would write a normal understandable language, there would be no misunderstandings
Till then I am going to stay away!

Hi Fred
This guy has seriously lost the plot!!!!!! By even Saffie standards it’s a case of baffling brains. Methinks he does protest too much. In bygone days we could afford to spend 2 weeks nay 3 weeks in KNP – we can no longer afford to do so. For his edifification a night at Ngwenya lodge with a 3 bedroomed luxury unit we own costs a paltry R187 per person as opposed to what we are being offered in a scant 40 days time. Even an establishment like Komati River Chalets is offering us A queen size bed, a kitchenette , a main en suite as well as our own private patio for the princely sum of R482 per person per night. Mr Wright is seriously behind the times with the average South African not only in the bombastic vein of his e mails which smack of entitlement and much finger pointing but also from the aspect of following a faltering regime which is intent on feathering its own nest at the expense of what many of us consider our heritage. All is not well!
Yours in Parking and counting down the days to 3 weeks (two in timeshare and the rest between a very reasonable Komati and Elephant Walk plus two hugely expensive nights in a bloody hut at Skukuza with very little to make it the highlight of the trip)
