but did not come far as a group of giraffes was once again blocking the road

and peeped up from behind a smaller bush quite often.

Around the next corner we noticed a marabou stork congress as an uncountable number of them were running around

on the catch for insects.

It was amazing to watch as all of them were wading around peacefully and very relaxed

Finally we continued and we even noticed a pair of chinspot batis out of which him could be photographed whilst she was not willing to do so

and at one of the many causeways we had to cross on that road we again found another malachite kingfisher who just shortly caught something creepy

I cannot remember having seen so many of these colourful birds throughout the park ever before it was amazing

We again drove each loop you could drive leading closer to the Letaba river and there finally we spotted out first saddle billed stork couple during that trip

and at Engelhard dam a great white egret was around as well as grey herons
