29/04/2006 between 13th and 14th boreholes.

We came across 3 cheetahs on a ridge watching a springbok herd. Elena began to stalk and used the cars to her advantage. She crossed the road and carried on stalking, finally running and catching a springbok lamb, which she played with for a bit, before killing it. The springbok herd was frozen, just stood watching, and one of the other siblings decided to make a run for a lamb as well. He/she caught the lamb and the 3rd cheetah joined them.

As per Gus Mills, is Thelma and Louis (Killie, for Pascal) - if you know something about Louis... it will be more than welcome, please ;-)
Info from the 19.1.2009 via mail by specalist...

Just before leaving for KTP Louis (Killie) is fine and mum too and there is a mum named Gertie with 4 very youngs around TR.

Thelma had separated from her previous litter in January 2007.
She is a rather elusive cheetah who prefers to stay in the dunes most of the times.
