Thank you Lisbeth, Mel, Bush Brat, Toko, Pumbaa and Flutterby for all your comments ^Q^

After leaving the Steenbucks it didn't take long and I ran into a big herd of Buffalos. I always love to stand in the middle of a herd and take close portraits of the buffs when they try to check out if you are dangerous for them or not. Here are some of them:

The rest of the loop was not very spectacular but when I came to Shidlayengwenya the long awaited moment was there..I Heard my first Woodland Kingfisher of te year O\/ O\/ I took it as a good sign and when I was back on the tar rad two Honey Badgers crossed the road in front of me O/\ As usual they didn't give me the time to get satisfying pics but I was more than happy that I saw them :-)

Thank you all for following tis thread, during the next days I hope I can post more regularly O0

After a good rest in the camp I did the same usual drive in the afternoon. First I visited the Shipandani bridge before I drove the Tropic of C. - loop again. At the bridge I saw some Black Crake, a Croc and this Juvenile Blacksmith Lapwing:

On the way to Tihanganyeni I came across my first Impala babies in the North and also saw a Black-shouldered Kite in the distance:

Maybe because of the heat there were no activities at the waterhole but at the end of the loop I saw a Juvenile Dark Chanting Goshawk in perfect late afternoon light. Here are the first pics of this beautiful raptor but I will post some more in my next post O**
