Continuing in the south here is a place a little bit out the way that allows you to explore some other roads in the south.

When you get a bit of the beaten path you will have to open and close a lot of these.

Hi Kesheshe,

It was wonderful to page through you TT and looking at places I've been many years ago. Your pictures are stunning and makes one want to be there yourself. Before meeting my SO I did the Fish river trail twice, but those days no digital camera and my film camera did not roll properly so I ended up with no pics. :-(

The first wilderness trip I took my son to was to the Richtersveld. At that time he was only 3 years old. Next year March / April we are doing the trip again. If we were in the US he will be allowed to drive us around. Just got my bookings for March and can't wait to finalise my bookings next month when April bookings open.

It was really great to see these places again through your stunning photography.

Now where is Vogelstrausskluft lodge?? Guessing near a place called Aus or is it more north. :-?

tina ot sure if it is owned by germans

Bushveld jock - Coming from Windhoek follow B1 until you reach Keetmans- hoop. After you leave the town, change on B4 in direction to Lüderitz. Follow the road until you reach the left turnoff on gravelroad 463 (~ 28 km after Seeheim, in direction to »Feldschuhhorn«). After 25 km on 463 you will see »Vogelstrausskluft« to your left.
