Okay, her name is Eileen. I still would like to know where ( I assume Melkvlei area) and when, but also if there were other cheetahs around
since she is part of a sibling group who recently (well, already some months ago) split from their mother and are still together. At least on and off.

Also, will you give me permission to post her on our Kgalagadi cheetah sigthing thread, please? O0

And I'd still be very grateful to get more pix of the mother with the cub you saw. :-0
Even blurred ones. Anything that helps identifying her as well. X#X

Mel. This cheetah was with another young cheetah. They were at Melkvlei end of October. Can use photo. I cannot post more photos till next year.

No probs about the photos - am happy to wait. :-)

I wonder if we saw them on the very same day even. We were at a cheetah sighting at Leeuwdril, actually moving north
and were told that there were two more cheetahs just short of Melkvlei who had given chase earlier but failed. When
we arrived Eileen and her brother were resting in a dead tree just short of the picnic spot.

Hi Mel it is the same day. There were too many cars at Leeudril, there were cheetah on a red hartebeest kill. There were lion between the two cheetah sightings at the lower dune road turn off too. \O
