Nice to sit at the restaurant and have tuskers come to you... =O: =O: =O: =O:

What on earth was that giraffe doing in the first pic...drinking back to front? :-?

Cicadas are another species we could do without, IMO..grotesque things! Why are they all stuck together like that? @#$

Good spelling, Ex...personally I would have given "police" a capital P, as it is a title? -O-

That is the general rule, RP, but it presupposes a title of respect, which is obviously (to most 0- ) absent in this case. ^0^

The 2nd Sandpiper with its reflection is sublime, Mr. Hornbill Homebuilder is fabulous, and LOVE the Hooktail and Tigertail dragonflies. ^Q^ ^Q^ ^Q^ ^Q^

The proctologist monkey (tee hee hee), very clever. lol ;-)
Another completely insane couple of weeks at work! I finally got the time and energy and inclination (all at the same time) to sit down and post the next episode of this TT.

Thanks so much for the compliments ExFmem, I really like the Dragonfly pictures too - I have seen the Tigertail on several occasions before but have never had one wait for me to get pictures before.

I spent quite a while trying to get the Hornbill without much success and then realised that I needed to use a shorter lens - the 150-600mm was too long at minimum zoom (hence the cropped tail in the first shot) so I switched to the Nikkor 55-200mm kit lens which worked much better (hence the whole bird in the second shot).

The Sandpiper was just in the right place at the right time and the Vervet Monkey got some good captions in the "What is the animal saying" thread :-0

and of course I LOVE the squirrel in the kitchen; very high cuteness factor O\/ O\/

Great sighting of the BIG GUYS O/\ O/\
I would have liked to lay flay on some floor tiles too, the temperature was well into the 40s! The swimming pool was like a warm bath but it was still better than not being in the swimming pool!

Mathulele and companion were wonderful, at first I didn't realise that Malopenyana was actually a tusker as Masthulele made his tusks look puny

Lovely YBK and Cameroptera photos :-0 and the elephant bull is a special encounter, too
There was at least one Dragonfly that I didn't manage to photograph, that was the male Violet Dropwing.

Big Elephant bulls are always a special encounter!
