So the next episode we have a very naughty elephant

We turned off onto the S142 Shongololo loop. About 4km down this road we found MR ELEPHANT standing in the middle of the road.

The moment he heard our car he turned around and looked at us as if he wanted to say: This is my road

We stopped and gave him his space

He then moved off to our left and I told Mrs Alf that I'm going to try and sneak past him so everyone needs to hold on.............

As I was moving forward slowly he then gave us the LOOK



We could see this elephant means business.

And the next moment he just came straight towards us



After a few meters he stopped....... And gave us another look.



Mrs Alf just took photos as he was charging and I tried to get past still very slowly not realizing he is coming fast towards us







And he got closer and closer







I slammed the petrol down as hard as I could when Mrs. Alf screamed he is charging and with the noise of the wheels on the gravel road I think it frightened him and he stopped.

Crazy elephant I thought

So we were laughing and said: now he will wait for the next car to arrive.

Hmmm....... no wonder .... it looks like he is coming into musth See the temporin being discharged from his temporal gland

We have been charged a few times now. Never nice believe me. I just tried getting past.
