The herds are doing very well in Addo at the moment due to more summer rain than normal.

This red hartebeest calf was no more than a few weeks old, still having its umbilical cord attached

There are a lot of babies around at the moment O/\ O/\

Here a tender moment between zebra mom & calf. The calf has got some strange marks on its face - almost like it has been scratched. But looking at the mom she also has similar marks. I'm not quite sure what it's from -O-

I was fortunate to catch this kudu cow & calf. They normally dash away very quickly when they have little ones around

Finally a young buff. Check out the big feet... it makes them look almost out of proportion... some big shoes to fill lol
