Josie had vanished into the bushes at a point where there wasn't much of a view up and down the road, so we moved around quite a lot to try and ensure we didn't miss her if she decided to come back a different way. When turning around during one of those moves she suddenly appeared out of nowhere... with cubs trundling along behind

It was one of those moments where patience and quite a bit of luck had paid off
Josie was gently calling them as they made their way back towards the kill, but their route treated us to about 5 minutes of a fabulous sighting...













Eventually the cubs went charging up a hill with Josie and then off into the bush en-route to the buffalo kill

It will be interesting to see what happens to these cubs as they are all male. I hope they don't get moved out the park for any reasons - it would be quite spectacular to see 3 big black-maned male lions moving together in Addo
