\O all .

Sparrows use anything to line their nests . Even plastic lol
That one flew off with the plastic in his beak , and they all followed him .....maybe to help him with it ..... or maybe to rob him =O:

Was that an acacia tree rat sitting there? Just learned on this trip that they damage the trees they live in so badly that they will eventually die

The birds certainly are more environmental supporting than the humans... collecting the plastic and all.

Totally jealous of that barbet... Only saw it one and it was an extremely fleeting sighting. But they are such pretty birds that I wouldn't mind a nice photo of them. O**

Yes mel , it was a blacktailed tree rat \O It went to call its whole family , but when we just locked away all accessible foodstuffs , they left and did not come back lol

The acacia barbet sat there within a few meters from me when I was braaiing :-)

Hmmmm..... My original intention with this thread , was to make it quite short , but unfortunately there is an outspoken member on this forum who favours visiting , and who does not like long-winded , drawn out boring stories .........

So , I have decided to put the matter to the vote :O^

All those in favour of the continuation of this thread , please say " X#X " ........
Otherwise , just " " ...........
