A clever way of doing a TT. X#X

The boons leaping into the water are great pics and also gave me a laugh =O:

The bugs give me the creeps but again wonderful close up pics. O-/

You got eland and a crested fowl also

The black heron showing you its hunting technique is brilliant. ^Q^ ^Q^ ^Q^ ^Q^ ^Q^ ^Q^ :-0 I have only ever seen it on TV.

Thank you nan, Mel, Sis, RP, Flutts, Pumbaa, and BC!! O0 O0 O0

Mel, I think the hippos were just play fighting, tho' they got rather aggressive, but I think it was more a dominance display than desiring any harm.

Yes, RP, I always take way too many pics :o0ps: :o0ps:

BC, we were delighted to get the eland, but the crested guinea fowl was one I had been wanting for ages. I never did get a really decent pic of them, but glad to tic them off the list. Agreed, the black heron was a high point for us. \O

JUMPING SPIDERS

Please just indulge me here - I LOVE Jumping Spiders 0/0 O\/ O\/

..0.. I think they could be the next children's toy craze like Beanie Babies, etc $$$$$$. They have huge puppy-like eyes and adorable little paws of all shapes and colors, and they're very animated. They could be made of soft furry material and also used as a pillow with their round lil' bodies, all snuggly and comfy.  \O AND, it would make kids less afraid of them.

Have you kissed a spider today? -O-

But if you peruse the "Dark Web", you'll see they have a sinister side O-/ O-/

I do feel sorry for the insects the jumping spiders ambush and devour, :-(

but Karma is just around the corner... 0'

This photo of a robberfly with a jumping spider, eye to eye, staring sure death in the face, brings the point home.

Ah, Mother Nature's creatures participating in the glorious Circle of Life, by eating one another. Ain't it grand!!

Yes, it is grand, but 1. I have not kissed a spider today even if I found a big one last night, which I took by a leg and placed outside. 2. Kids would probably accept/love the idea of a spider pillow....... with sufficient publicity O** lol

0*\ Ex!

lol Very clever indeed!

Interesting the carcass inside the waterhole there....the hyenas put them in water instinctively, not a very healthy thing for small pools! 0:
