Hi Flutts, that survey is useless, it gets read once a month and is just for scoring the camps. (the big boards in receptions) Any complaints or suggestions on there do not translate into any action. There is a separate complaints for to fill in for complaints and suggestions. \O

PJL wrote: Wed Feb 06, 2019 9:35 am A nice array of sightings despite the weather... that section is such a predator hotspot it must have felt strange not seeing any but I'm sure there's luck round the next corner \O
I've never seen the H4-1 so quiet before....no-one was having luck! But, about that corner..... O**

Hey Dzombo, glad you're on board, no need for oohs and aahs. \O Ja, old people become so stubborn and difficult. :-(

A Wahlberg's Eagle, I think. -O-

And then, around the next corner.... wild dogs in the road!! O/\ O/\ By the time I could get my camera they'd moved off the road and we saw they were on an impala kill! ^Q^ We counted 7 of them!

They were very nervous and kept looking into the bush to their left.

The others stayed with the kill and one started dragging it closer to the road, all the while watching the bush. -O- But they soon joined the others and left the kill behind. We followed them, as some stayed on the road and others ran though the thick bush, until they all disappeared! 0/*

Of course we were all very excited! O/\ O/\ Anna hadn't been too worried about seeing lions but after hearing that wild dogs were one of the most endangered animals in Africa she was very keen to find them...done and dusted!! ^Q^ ^Q^ And she'd found her new favourite animal! lol I just thought it was amazing that we'd seen wild dogs but still no lions...that has never happened to us before! 0-
