Onward!

It was hot and dry, in case I haven't mentioned that?

Mazithi Dam was dry, but the windpump operating!

We turned off on the S-86 a bit to go and sit in the shade. Someone got out of the car next to us to drain the main vein, and got quite a shock as some ellies made a sudden appearance!





Kumana Dam was also dry!

I was in a fine mood with all the drinking going one, so this sight nearly gave me an organism:


It was Sweni waterhole on the S-126



Mam: "Sir, are you ok?"

RP: "Oooh! Ooh! OOoh!"


Frew: "More coming!"

RP: "Oooooooooh!"

I could quite happily have sat here all day...


I may have said this before but waterhole-action...

Frew: "Ja, I think your point has been made. "


One thing I hate is how the elephants bully other drinkers, especially the teenagers!

Q: How many mammal species were at the waterhole?

The animals coming en masse to drink, but the scenery is not very pretty when it is so dry

The last pic is lovely

The dry scenery has a different attraction, Lis? Amazing how it changes after rain, hey?

In the last pic a small ellie was copying the bahaviour of a teenager.

They all do and they look so funny

The way the scenery changes is one of the charms of Kruger

We also drove that tar road up north and it was shocking to see all waterholes dry. Glad you had some action
