The waterbuck pic is lovely. Is that a "baby" Ibis?

Too cute.
Butterfly,

the lighting on the zebra and giraffe pics is lovely, dust bathing bee-eaters
More please....

So nice to spot a big cat by yourself, Pumbaa!
Matjulu is very nice, as you say, and interesting the water appearing in the veld!
Interesting bird behaviour.
Yes, always the best cat sightings

Matjulu is in fact always worth a visit

You simply have to stay there - Although it is close to the gate we always had brilliant sightings there

Needless to say that all people from the neighbouring bungalows as well as we hurried to the fence to get a closer view onto all of them.
It was simply such a magic moment that we had the honour in watching them that close
but far too soon all of them disappeared in the thick bush and all the people lit their braai. What a more than wonderful first full day we had.
Saturday, 09. February 2019 – Berg en Dal – Crocodile Bridge
Roads we paid a visit: S110 – H3 – S119 – S25 – H4-2 – S28 – H4-2
Today it was already moving day as we decided to spend only one night in this camp as we had nearly two full days in that area and instead to squeeze in one night in Mopani although I must say that I missed another night in Berg en Dal. Anyway after we packed everything together and paid a final visit to Matjulu. We stopped for Mrs. Zorro
and for the obligatory giraffes. Zebras were also around but still far too far away for some decent shots.
Matjulu itself was deserted and so we continued but soon had to stop for a group of ground hornbills who picturesquely positioned themselves onto a dead tree with the mountains in the background
and we simply had to capture a lot of pictures.
After a while they obviously thought we got enough shots and so one after the other took off and landed on the road
but luckily for us they were still brilliantly visible without being hidden by the high grass.
