13th April 2019 Grootkolk to Urikaruus
We had set our mind to leave Grootkolk early'ish to maybe find something with paws in the road. Instead we were rewarded to a much rarer sighting not long after having left the camp. Eland! And masses of it! There were at least 150 animals

And just before Polentswa finally some healthy looking lions. When we first arrived they were still far off in the riverbed, but they had the decency to move towards the road and actually cross it right in front of us

And the finally highlight of the drive - some five hours later
- a jackal buzzard.
