We were up early from the drive to Satara.
First a few pics of the early morning at Lower Sabie.

We headed up the H4-1 and turned on to the S79 causeway, where we found a Saddle Bill family

Then some Baboons outside Nkhulu

After a short stop at Skukuza, we headed up the H1-2, turning off at the s84 loop, where these two lions were sleeping

Just outside Satara, we spotted an Ellie digging for water.

She proceeded to show us that she had found water.

We had booked 3 BD3B’s alongside each other, and when unpacking, we found that 1 geyser was not working, two huts glass doors were jammed and the kettle did not work in 1 hut, microwave not working in the other a stove not working in the third.

Sanparks fixed the geyser and doors, and we pulled the working kettle and microwave to the hut where the stove was working, so at least we had 1 hut with everything working. We would use this hut as the base for all cooking

Later that evening we had a visit for a wild cat, very friendly and was obviously used to people.
