We decided to have a coffee ... and lunch in Melkvlei and I decide to go see after the next turn if .... if… ;-)
Yes, there are 4 Lionesses lying in the embankment, half hidden in thickets. They suffer from heat, are flat in full sun ... like any good Lion who respects himself lol

There are still some birds of prey Yellow-billed Kite, Jackal Buzzard, Lanner Falcon, Bateleur Eagle, Tawny Eagle.

On the way back Reed Hartebeest and Sprinkbok. An Ostrich's family leads its teenagers on one side and the other on the road. A little further to the south, they are tiny Autruchons, kept in the shade under the wing of papa

They are lucky (me too again), they saw two kinds of owls not so common in one day, as well as an Ashy Tit with his supper. We are preparing ours. The wind is powerful and we decide to place the cars in a way to counter it! Two Yellow Mongooses come to keep us company. On the menu, Lamb'rack, stuff mushrooms, garlic bread and rosé wine.
