For us the Mahonie loop is simply a nyala boulevard and we do see always lots of them here, families with males,
females
and smaller ones.
We had to stop nearly around each corner as more and more of them appeared
and we were glad that all of them were extreme relaxed and allowed
to take that many shots from them. Young males were also around
as well as beautiful ladies
and I suppose we stopped for nearly each nyala on the Mahonie loop as in mind the entrance was coming nearer and nearer and we simply wanted to drag our stay in the park a bit longer. Kudus we also do often see along that road
and also elephant bulls.
We nearly finished the loop when we spotted another family of ground hornbills
with even a juvenile between them.
A smaller group of buffaloes was then the last animal we stopped for and
after our obligatory ice cream and pit stop at Punda Maria we left the park.
The end - Finally!
