On the upper road behind the house some damage to be seen at the stream crossing...it is the same stream that features in all the Walks, meandering all over the place for kilometres!

And back at base camp the beverages have changed a bit with the addition of Baby Dwarf 2.0!

It's always a satisfaction to see the growth over time of something that you (Dwarf) have (has) planted

It was incredibly humid that afternoon, so much so that I even took a rare shower, my first at Marloth!


Power out as a huge thunderstorm eventually hit, not sure if it is loadshedding?

Next morning, the bird bath was full!

And off for A Walk of course, this wet fellow with birds!

Nice atmosphere with candlelight but rather limiting in other respects

There are almost always some kind of animals on a walk in Marloth

and also the warthogs and giraffe - Indeed no braai possible that evening

Someone else was also planting trees, far more advanced than our efforts!
