We exited the parking area and waited for them

They soon crossed the road

But instead of coming to the waterhole to drink, they disappeared over onto the far side of the pan
We waited a good while at the waterhole before deciding to return to camp for a comfort break
While we were there, the ever vigilant, Debbie spotted the trio on the way back to the waterhole

Pull up your pants and Move!!! was the instruction from my wife while I was on the long drop

We raced (as well as one can on a two track) back to the waterhole only to see them disappearing over the far western ridge,
Gavin and Christine had had an awesome sighting of them at the waterhole

I prefer the cheetahs not to be at the waterhole lol
But that's probably down to the fact that it's harder to ID themd - or in case one doesn't have enough decent shots to ID them,
it's not likely you get them while they are crouching down drinking and such. O**

But anyways, nice sighting of Chaya and her daughters Lumen and Luna. They girls have since dispersed from their mum
and I'm sure, Chaya is busy getting pregnant again (or maybe is already).

Thanks everyone
So we carry on....

As the day was still young, we decided that a trip up north was in order

Well we saw

The old Liejersdraai waterhole O/\

And a steenbok (no disrespect to the steenbok) but that was all

P1820864.JPG

And we did see the turn off to Grootkolk before retracing our steps :-)

Back at Polentswa a warthog was having a drink. We wondered if it was the same one from the other night :-?

Then it was snooze/housekeeping time back in camp (I leave it up to you to decide who did what)

To end off the day, we returned to the waterhole, as did our spotted trio from earlier, before disappearing into the distance once again
