Thanks everyone for your kind comments, I'm having a great time photographing all these creepies.

It's amazing what you can find when you start looking! I just have an ordinary garden - most of the pictures above were taken on one daisy bush!

Do you use special macro lenses to make these pictures?

Hi vinkie,

Yes, I have a Tamron 90mm Macro lens which I use with extension tubes to get really close. Macro photography and extension tubes are discussed on this topic - viewtopic.php?f=105&t=1290

Thanks for the tip, \O will take a look at the topic asap, I would like to try some Macro photography too, the extension tubes for Nikon are on sale now O:V ....but it's winter in Europe so we must wait until Spring. O**

As I said in the Macro Photography topic, make sure you get good quality ones - mine are Polaroid and they have the connections that allow the autofocus and metering to work. I read the reviews on a few of the really cheap ones and there was more than one set that could not be removed from the camera!

You can always try them out on icicles :twisted:
