while I was waiting on the stoep for my SO to get ready, all of a sudden there was a lot of noise in the tree in front of the chalet . I looked up and saw a rosy-faced lovebird, another first
actually there were two and they behaved really nice and sat down in the fallen tree next to the chalet

there was a drongo as well
my So missed all of them and when he was finally ready we went on the morning drive. There was a traffic jam at 14th borehole. As we could not see anything we asked someone what they saw. They told us that there was a cheetah behind a bush. We waited for about 15 minutes and nothing happened. Frustrated we continued to 13th borehole. Here we saw a shy baby gemsbok

On the way back to camp we saw a swallow-tailed bee-eater
We spent the afternoon in camp and were visited by some squirrels
a cape crow on the roof
and swallow-tailed bee-eater

then we did the short walk around camp
we found ashy tit
and Gusti’s family was having a meeting close to the staff quarters

a groundscraper thrush (they are not only around at Nossob)
and my „favourite“ bird, a familiar chat
