while I was waiting on the stoep for my SO to get ready, all of a sudden there was a lot of noise in the tree in front of the chalet . I looked up and saw a rosy-faced lovebird, another first

actually there were two and they behaved really nice and sat down in the fallen tree next to the chalet

there was a drongo as well

my So missed all of them and when he was finally ready we went on the morning drive. There was a traffic jam at 14th borehole. As we could not see anything we asked someone what they saw. They told us that there was a cheetah behind a bush. We waited for about 15 minutes and nothing happened. Frustrated we continued to 13th borehole. Here we saw a shy baby gemsbok

when we returned to 14th borehole, the cars had moved or left. We managed to get a place just as Lisette decided to get up.
