Re: Animals killed in Vehicle Collisions

Post by leachy »

does anyone really believe it when some random kruger sightings

"tinger" says that an animal got hit by a car

merely because it is lying still behind some stones next to the road....

the fact that the "tinge" is even placed on this thread by one of us

is even more more unbelievable...

or is that to show us how stupid the latest sightings "tingers" are

what the hell is a "tinge" anyway ????????

the future is not what it used to be

O-/ I don't believe everything I read, but this porcupine was seen "on the move" at 10:50 and "barely moving" at 11:00 and not the other way round. So within these 10 minutes, it might have been hit by a car. -O-

With one thing I agree: Using the word "to tinge" is ridiculous 0*\

To tinge
transitive verb

1a : to color with a slight shade or stain : TINT
b : to affect or modify with a slight odor or taste
2 : to affect or modify in character

It's actually "ting" not "tinge". It was a word that members of Latest Sightings came up with for their sightings' uploads. ;-)

A word that does not exist? and then it has become a verb, that has a completely different meaning 0-

The first pic was a day before the second one, Dingwe...the times are "live" as posted on our time, just subtract, if that makes sense?

That does not mean that that is when the sightings were, but generally they are uploaded on the same day as the actual sighting as soon as cell reception is reached, which is the whole point of the exercise! ;-)

We have contacted Kerry before...can check if you want? -O-

You go into the Kruger to have a stunning day with the worlds most amazing animals. And then you find this your heart break in pieces. How could someone do this. When I found this little one she was still breathing. Someone drove over her. No car insight. Back broken, bleeding internally and brain damage. I tried everything to get a damn signal on my phone to call for help but didn't get any. I want to say thank you to the Rudi Visser who arrived after me and said they will report it at the Phalaborwa gate. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.. I stayed with this little one for two hours the last 10 minutes before the ranger came she went under my car to get out of the warm sun to get in the shade of my car. You were so painful but you trusted me and get under my car. I waited until help came. I want to say thank you to the SANPARKS Ranger for coming out. I know the job you had to do was not easy but at least there is no more suffering.
