Next morning , we left the camp early , with the intention to drive down one of our really favourite roads , the S 52 , via Red Rocks , and then have a brekkie at Tsange Lookout
Right outside the camp gate , these two Pied Wagtails were warming up in the early morning sun .
And on another branch of the same tree , a Fish eagle was also contemplating the world around him .
A baby giraffe nibbled on tree leaves
and a ground hornbill strutted through the grass in search of breakfast
We were hoping to see the dogs again , and thought that they may have crossed the Shingwedzi river , so the S52 would be a good area to look for them .
Such a large pack of dogs have to catch prey often , and I had an idea that the dogs may have caught something last night , and then it would probably not go very far to rest up the next day , so the S52 sounded good .
And I was right , soon after us crossing the low-water bridge , we found them
There they were , right next to the road , lying scattered in little groups of two's and three's , just lazing around , and generally dozing , sleeping, wiling the time away
