Very privaleged to have been the only human on this planet to enjoy 3-4 early mornings with these lions and this allowed them to be their natural selves and they just carried on without a thought of my presence in their boy fight games and here gentle love games in preparation for the serious mating in full adulthood. Here a Sub Adult lioness approaches a Sub Adult Male and gently caresses him on his head and that allowed her to get in closer for some intimate whispering ..Totally awesome to watch all this natural uninhibited interaction on all days in total silence and his response! These lions are a bit useless if they couldn't catch any food there in 5 days, Peter?

They were around for 2 days ..Then there were 5 on the third day and a loner 5 days later ..No they eat well this pride ..You just have to look at them

The art of Seduction at sunrise (Click for colours) at Grootvlei dam ...2016 = previous trip to Kruger it was Boyela Windmill 2018 it was Grootvlei Dam where I doubt if I will ever have such brilliant sightings at one location..being on my own every morning there in an every increasing crowded Kruger was a life crowning experience
