Next morning up at dawn, these mongeese were getting more and more tame!
One even wandered inside the house!
Close up...their fur sort of shimmers in photos...
One had a missing eye!

Flowers much more common this time of year vs late winter!
And this was our first ever tree agama pic, they are deucedly difficult to photograph!

Two flutterbyes mating, it seems?
And this quite extraordinary sight....a communal spiders nest after they had obviously been feasting on these insects!
These nests are quite common, a more normal one nearby:
Quite a fancy pic, new life sprouting up through rubble thrown to fill the road!
