Ja, Flutts! But grass was shorter...
Back at camp one may have expected the family to be sort of packing, or at least active, which they sort of were not...
I'll spare you the details, but we left an hour after the scheduled time for vacating the premises, with me profusely apologising to the waiting staff, who pragmatically started cleaning the bedrooms as a family member could be winkled out...Thank you, Pretoriuskop staff for this!
Here's the pic taken with me waiting at the car, possibly some of my tears on the lens?
But it was not over. My dear mother coyly remarked that she had heard of a couple of huts that had been occupied by, nay built for the BRITISH ROYAL FAMILY!
So a visit to that quite interesting, but faffing now went into Karen Blixen mode, the worst you can get...and she does this on purpose!
And then the shop, for some or other reason...buying a bottle of water?
MP: "Ok...I know you want to get home, just a few seconds...bye! "
Half an hour later...
Pw:
"I just want to go buy a candelabra quickly, as she isn't back yet...just a few seconds! Bye!"
I was seriously contemplating having some
again...ffs...but they reappeared another half an hour later!
But it was not over. With the camp gate in sight, the Prinsadam Show appeared at reception...they had managed to book another night somewhere..who cares...
MP: "Oooh! Let me go and say goodbye to my darling grandchildren, whom I haven't seen for an hour, and won't see for another two days! "
I went onto the pills...booze wasn't going to help...
None of this is made up.
On the road at last! Spot the animal!
The weather was pleasant, and the drive out was actually also pleasant!
Voortrekker road again!
Lots going on back at Renosterpan....I'll name the location, as rhino is in the name!
Action!
And then some cute visitors!
The piglets were not concerned about the behemoths at all!
Will try and put up a video!
