Lovely waterbucks and the White-fronted bee-eaters are very special when seen like that, both on the sand wall and on the branch
The elephant looks very young
Nice giraffe portrait

Nice stuff all round, Pumbaa!
Rare to get duiker pics, as you say!
And those teenage elephants are always a bit silly!
Lovely bee-eater shots, what a sighting!

He was not that young any longer at least old enough to be on his own

Especially in summer with the dense vegetation duikers are often invisible after having spotted one

At first sight we only saw something running around, something black, brown and white and then we realized that there were wild dogs exactly at the same spot where we yesterday spent time with the lions
but this time it was even a premiere for us because there were also wild dog pups around although they were no longer that young, however, they still could be identified as pups.
Soon we also found a place to park on the roadside although at that early time of day quite a couple of cars were already around as well as a couple of safari vehicles
in the beginning we thought that it will be again such a “Follow the wild dog Race” but we were wrong as most of the dogs started to relax so that we also could enjoy that wonderful sighting.
The older wild dogs found a place to lay down whereas the younger ones were extreme playful
always on the search for a buddy to make nonsense with.
As there were so many wild dogs around we first concentrated on the pups
as it looked as if they will stilll stay a bit longer at that place
and also from time to time even one older dog got invovled into the game of the younger ones.
