Ja, it was a small drama many decades ago, especially with the "fortress conservation" attitude back then! lol

So they let the trees be after the equivalent of "outrage" from tourists. :-0

Theoretically the oldest 6-bed family cottages in Kruger are to be found in Pretoriuskop. This began with one built/modified for the Queen of England on a visit 60 years ago, and there are another two or three similar ones next to it, in a quiet spot by the fence east of reception. They are called FF6D or DB, but beware there are two a random 6-bedders that is two rondavels joined together and totally different (BG6)! :no:
