Not surprise, you haven figured out who is who of Roy and Nomad...
After our trip in 2012 I had sent close-up photos of one of the to the rangers at Addo -
even they were able to tell me which one they were looking at.
nan, no idea if it's a mountain tortoise, but a pretty shot.

Lions Part 2
We spent a few days in the park back at the end of November. About 30 mins after entering the park we found Gina on the Mbotyi Loop. It was a really enjoyable sighting as there were no other cars around for the first 5 minutes with her, and after that only one car came along . She walked along by our car for a while and then crossed the road and started calling into the distance - what an awesome sound! After no response, she crossed back over the road and settled herself in some shade under a bush. If we had been 10 minutes later, there's no chance we would have spotted her!
The next few days yielded no further lion sightings until we were literally driving on our way back out the park. Melvin and Gibson appeared on Harvey's Loop . These boys were part of an original litter of 3 cubs born to Gina in 2009. One unfortunately died, but these 2 are growing up to be very handsome chaps
