Hi folks. We have booked a Riverside bungalow (LR2W) for 5 nights in January at Skukuza. Could anyone recommend a particular bungalow number that would be best to request (No 86-96)? Any advice would be much appreciated.

Hello, Jakes!

And welcome.

Someone will be around with numbers, but they are all pretty lovely as I recall! X#X

The historic Papenfus Clock Tower in Skukuza will in future again welcome visitors with the correct time of day. The clocks have been out of order for a number of years, only managing to give the correct time twice a day ...

The Magalies region of the SANParks Honorary Rangers has taken on the task to have the original clocks repaired and brought online with new technology which will help ensure that load shedding or not ... the timepieces will keep on giving accurate time.

The clocks were removed with the assistance of the Kruger technical services team and repaired by a professional technician. The four face plates were restored back to their old lustre. The timepieces have now been re-installed ready to welcome visitors.

If you are so lucky as to be in Skukuza ... come and be part of history and join us when we switch on the clocks at new year.
