29th Biyamiti to Home continued
The adult wild dog stood very still for a few seconds while checking the hyena out and then she turned and issued a small type of command and suddenly the other adult dogs pulled in to join her and an assault started on the hyena.

The hyenas were shrieking their heads off as they ran for cover and we were laughing so much it was difficult to hold the cameras still.
The 1 hyena bailed into a puddle of water to protect his/her hind legs and bum from the wild dogs, but it was wailing the place down as if it was getting bitten, so this got us laughing even more.

We had spent more than half an hour now with the dogs and there still wasn’t another car around which was awesome, but I subtly hinted that we needed to get going and after a few last looks we moved on towards Croc Bridge and only stopped once more for some lions at the S25/S27 area.

We were out the park around 7:30am and home just after 3pm.
In conclusion, it was a good 9 days in Kruger, but as normal it’s over far too quickly and each time it seems to get harder to shake that “Kruger feel” and to get back into the concrete jungle work environment.
Lastly, thanks to all of you guys who have shared our adventure with us as I have posted it fairly fast and I understand it’s a mission to keep up and post the “cheerleader” stuff continuously.

What a way to end a trip!!! Lions on top of it

Only the leopard missing
Interesting to see how that one wild dog eyed you intensly
And what is that bird that shared the puddle with the shrieking hyena
and still being totally nonchalant about the commotion around it?

for taking the time to share your trip with us. A pleasure as always.
And we're used to your speed by now anyways
