Re: Damwits - Mopane Full House 2019
Soon we reached yet another first in this ADVENTURE...a lookout!
Dw: "What are the name of this place?"
RP: "Shiava...Shibytasa...Shabaval...Look! What a magic view!"
Dw: "Ja! Wow!"
It is marvelous indeed! We were high up and closer to the sun so it was getting hot!
The Dimwits in action here, keeping themselves busy..
Dw: "This view are maknificant!"
Frew: "My stomach has grown by THIS much since last year, Borderline!"
Bl: " Rubbish!
"
I was getting bored so sat in the Samoosa with the aircon on and noticed these mysterious hieroglyphs...

We then raced down the mountain and on northwards...the desert bush starts driving you a bit mad after the first 100 kilometres...
Wheeeee!
Frewells was the pilot, and Borderline was at the back with me and babbling about having never seen eland, so to shut him up I said we would see them at the dam up ahead...
Eventually we arrived at Grootvlei, a very nice if rather remote spot!
As Peter Betts has told us fifty times one can drive on the dam wall, which makes for some nice views!
There were lots of aminals!

A cattle egret!
Do the hieroglyphs mean that it is not allowed to use glasses or not to get the inside of the car wet
Those places look like a scene out of a futuristic "after the atomic bomb" landscape
I'll never go in winter

Still some water in the dam, but it looks barren in the harsh light

It is Africa, Lis and Klippies. Unforgiving late winter...but the rains came soon after.
