Gate quota at Stormsriver mouth

I've been trying to find out if there's a gate quota at stormsriver mouth.

The total of cars parked along the road leading to the restaurant yesterday were just ridiculous

And these capetonions never heard of manners as they just keep on pushing past hoping to find parking closer. There's only space for one car as both sides of the road have cars parked.

You need to give each other a turn to pass when you get a gap but no........ the people with cape town number plates don't wait there turn..... they think when you pull over to the side 20 of them can go

I can't find anything about quotas, Alpheus. Just that the pool is for overnight guests only.

I think quotas might be needed in a few more places other than Kruger. Yesterday Addo had queues at the main camp reception coming out the door, down the steps and through a big chunk of the car park... I was chatting to one of the guides I know and he said it was the worst he had seen in 18 years

Fortunately we had been 6th in the park in the morning so missed the madness

Spoke to a honorary ranger now. He confirmed that there's no gate quota here at stormsriver

He also mentioned that most of the oceanette accommodation are empty because SP must do repairs to them....

So how much money have they lost out on over this peak period

We took a drive out of the park this morning. Came back at 11:30 and the number of cars at the gate were crazy
