The Large Grey Mongoose is very big, very rare and very nocturnal!

But on the other hand you may be right...

Pics are rare indeed for SA conditions, especially KZN...

Also google/wikipedia pics are often the Cape variety etc. etc.

Will check a bit more...

This Tembe animal is a slender mongoose, you see them regularly there.

Earlier lion pics. Mom made a kill (EG) and she may be pregnant

Africa Wild
