Lovely light on the giraffes. My favourite is the crimson-breasted shrike in the tree.

Looking at how thin that first badger was, it might have been the same that we saw which was north of the northern entrance of Dalkeith loop.

The rest... ugh, just makes me "home"sick

Another quiet drive, but always enjoyable anticipating what MAY show up next - (try not to fall asleep here, folks ). If you manage to stay awake you will be richly rewarded with everyone's favorite - CREEPY CRAWLIES !!!

KK is good for macro night photography because you are enclosed by the long walkway. A whole different world of predators and prey become active.

I LOVE this bug!!! I've only seen two, the first one in 2015, so I was ecstatic to see another this year. I'm sure you will all be just as thrilled…








If you look closely, you'll see an ant feeding under the bug - unfortunately it will be the ant's last supper…
