This causeway goes dead straight into the pan for a km or so...quite mind-bending!
Unusual to have water, as said, so it gives a strange effect!
So nice I took it twice, and look how level I got the camera in those days!

On we went to the second camp, Halali, which is totally different once again (in Mopane country) for a peek.
No pics...
Further on there was another lion lying under a bush next to the road, if I recall?
No pics...
Then our big destination, Okaukuejo (Skukuza):
Dwarf had to run up the tower immediately, obviously!
A quick campsite setup and an afternoon drive!
Our third and last predator!
And giraffe!

you experienced water in the pan. Did you maybe see any birds, flamingoes etc?
These camps are ugly monstrosities (and have an ugly history).
