i notice the elephant outside the museum had not been barricaded
in 2007.
one cannot stand under or next to it now without climbing over a barrier
(illegally)

If I remember correctly just after this the elephant wanted to fall over and the HR took it away

It was barricaded because tourists trampled all the flowers
Did you choose Letaba for your first Kruger visit? Avoiding the South without having experienced the crowds there?

Our first visit was in September 2006 at Skukuza

, first time the kids visited KNP, and they fell in love with it hook line and sicker

Bookworm liked it so much she chose to work with animals and now doing that as her job
I unfortunately don't have any photos of that trip only videos somewhere on a DVD
