I'm not sure about game reserves opening yet. Saw this on Rietvlei's FB page:
Please stop posting photos and screen grabs of politicians with level change information. When Rietvlei will be open will be announced as soon as we know but understand that there will be a number of measures that will need to be in place before this can happen. These would include sign-in procedures, payment options, number of vehicles allowed into the park, whether the picnic area will be opened and if so, whether rules need to be amended, ablution facility cleansing, bird hide protocols etc etc. Its not just about opening the gates as if it was pre covid.

I'm sure they will open but in about a week or so, they must get all those things in place first

This is the Department of Tourism's announcement. SANParks falls under the Department of Environment, Forestry and Fisheries. They also need to come aboard and give SP the go-ahead.

All the things now allowed are listed and then under the not allowed "leisure travel not permitted", which limits the things allowed quite a lot.
The opening up of hunting will also be a big boost to the tourism sector.
Not if the hunters cannot arrive

That's what I meant when I said that with all the different ministries explaining their rules, there will be overlapping and people will get confused

It will eventually be tricky going to overnight, as from Olifants northwards is a different province in Kruger!
