Amakhala Private Game Reserve

Between Port Elizabeth and Grahamstown adjacent Shamwari , lies Amakhala an exclusive and upmarket Big 5 reserve. I was asked to come and do the Marketing Photography for an International campaign and instead of my Fee I asked if Jane could stay the week end as well last winter.. We stayed at the prime Lodge where our stay would have cost R10 K for 3 nights (About a year camping at Rooiputs) We had our own Land Rover and Driver Guide. The Lions hadnt been seen for 3 weeks until my sharp eyed wife saw a Male walking between 2 clumps of bushes on a hill 800metres away ... I guided the driver how to approach and park for the light ..got this of my favorite Predator as the sun was setting ..A Click is compulsory here
