and this one... not a Fawn colored Lark because of the white in the tail
I was thinking of a Pipit ?
my nephew and I have tried to ID, nor me, nor he are birding

After our lenghty lark discussion on elsewhere yesterday, I consider this one a fawn-coloured lark as well and it seems quite similar to yours, nan.

One more: Flappet lark (dark underparts and big bill) or Sabota lark

For the Lark I think it is a Sabota Lark, being more brown than rufous, but some Sabota are rather rufous. The long white eyebrow is distinctive. But I am not 100% sure.

This one is also a Sabota Lark :
But I also have a identification problem with a Lark, seen at Mkhuze in April last year. Is it a Sabota or a Flappet or still another one according to you ?

They are most likely all Sabota larks. The long white eyebrow doesn't lie
