So you saw ALL the big and hairies in the park, are there leopard? ..0..

And it must have taken ages taking the collars out of every cheetah pic! \O

The low light on the cheetah creates a beautiful effect! [O]

Thanks very much for another class installment with pro pics...they make all the difference! :ty: X#X
I'm not sure about leopard. I think there might have been some prints somewhere right at the back of the park up in the mountains, but I've never heard of one ever being seen in the park or caught on camera traps etc.

Fortunately this cheetah didn't have a collar so no photoshop needed \O

The Mountainousarea of the Park is very suitable foe Leopard but being wild they will not be seen ..like the Leopards of Addo

On our final day we packed up first so that we could head home after a morning visit to the park. The weather had turned cloudy and cold so we knew there wouldn't be much to see - on previous visits if it's a really cold day everything hunkers down out of sight

We took Ubejane and then the Link Road up onto Rooiplaat. Along Ubejane we found a secretary bird gathering nesting material ^Q^

Image

Apparently we just missed seeing Roy & Nomad on the Link Road. Everything else was quiet, but a few jackal were to be seen

Image

We decided to take Kranskop loop up over the mountains and then down the valley to see whether any lions might be visible, but as we got higher it started snowing!! This is the second winter trip in a row where we have had snow in the park O:V

Image

It was too warm for the snow to settle, but it appeared that some of the mountains right at the back of the park had a snow line appearing

Over Kranskop the only animals we saw were some grey rhebok O\/

Image

There wasn't much else to see what with the cold weather... just a ground squirrel to wave us off on our way out the park X#X

Image

Yet again MZNP had treated us to an incredible array of sightings. Thanks for following along X#X X#X
