Yep, it's a orb web spider as Lisbeth said and on the web there is a stabilimentum with garbage lined up

See, I’m learning something already!
I had no idea about that orb-web spider that sometimes utilizes camouflage in its web. It appears they use it to disguise their real position in the web.
I suppose, broadly speaking, a lot of spiders would qualify if, after eating, they leave the remnants in their web.
It’s not a “perfect” fit for the idea of something eating, then gathering up the leftovers/disposable inedible parts, and toting them away, but is worth posting a pic or more and a brief explanation.
Ya’ll can do that if you’d like too, please.
My critter is an insect, with the earlier hint to its common name.
