This piggie seemed to be lost inside Jacks picnic site and was trying hard to work out how to escape

At Hapoor the magnificent Paul Kruger was arriving with a herd. He really is big - head and shoulders above the others

We took a short trip in to Addo this morning despite the damp and drizzly weather.

It was a very quiet start to the day, but as we were driving round Mbotyi loop the water droplets on the web of this Orb Spider highlighted it. I think it's a garden orb spider, but I'm certainly no expert

Image

Further round Mbotyi there were some eland and zebra with a bit of a disagreement lol

After a quick check at Peasland, we doubled-back onto Ngulube. Quite a few cars were lined up at the waterhole half way round the loop for a lone elephant, but it was otherwise quiet. Until we rounded a corner and found Josie, Dawn & Duffy wandering down the road O/\ O/\

Our timing must have been perfect as they had literally just arrived onto the road from wherever they had come from. It gave us some good time having them walk with us before other cars arrived O\/ O\/ O:V

With rain coming down, it seemed the lionesses were taking shortcuts to a morning drink by licking one-another lol

Image

Image

Before long they moved away from the road and started to make themselves comfortable behind some bushes. We were about to leave them when Witwarm arrived on the scene! He must have been following them at a distance, but we never saw him coming down the road -O-

His attention to the girls wasn't exactly met with great enthusiasm O**
