Orpen Gate Road (R531) is closed due to protests. There is no access to Orpen Gate. Please use a different gate when entering and/or exiting the park.

The Protest along the R531 (Orpen Orpen Acornhoek road) has been suspended until further notice. Orpen Gate te is now accessible, however road users need to drive with caution and watch out for the debris.

[08/19, 06:34] Kruger Lowveld Network: *R531 Orpen Gate Road UPDATE* Partial blockage by protesters. Debris and burning tyres. Situation seems calm at the moment but please advise visitors to use alternative gates.
